Our Unit:
Presentation Evening – 17th Oct 2011:
Our recent Presentation evening, was attended by the Chairman of Bath and Northeast Somerset council, councillor Peter Edwards and his wife, Somerset County Royal British Legion Youth affiliation officer John Headford, David Clark from the Whitchurch fete Committee, also representatives from the United reform church along with the Captain of the Corps Captain Richard Tyrrell NTC, Commander Eric Moore NTC and also the friends and parents of the cadets.
Great thanks must also go to LT David Whitfield NTC, LT Garry Ryall NTC, CPO Keith Samson NTC and Sub LT Jackie Cooper NTC and her cadets that helped support us on the evening and also the Unit helpers that kept us all supplied with tea and coffee along with the buffet.
The evening was a great success and all that attended commented on how smart the cadets looked and how well they portrayed the NTC. The hard work that was put in by the cadets and staff was rewarded during the evening when the Captain of the Corps Richard Tyrrell NTC presented the Unit with its Affiliation certificate; the Unit having fulfilled the conditions required by the executive council.
