What did we do Last Year? The Corps has had a great year. We had a new unit join – TS Daring – welcome aboard. The cadets attended many activities including visits to HMS Daring , HMS Gloucester and as advertised there was the Waterborne activity weekend at Waterland Outdoor Pursuits at the Cotswold Waterpark. We will be attending this great event again this year, June 2012.

Some of the Autumn events we attended:

Cadet Class 3 Seamanship Course 25-26 Nov 11:Cadets attending the course came from TS Ocean , TS Raleigh and TS Bulldog. All Cadets passed the Course and went away with a Class 3 Seamanship Badge and a Certificate – click here for photos of the evening.

Tall Ships Presentation Evening: 26th March 12:The event was an auspicious occasion for the Navy Training Corps when TS Ocean hosted the presentation evening at Stourport Scout HQ.The evening was held to congratulate cadets on their achievements offshore and for the presentation of the National Cadet of the Year Awards. Cook/steward weekend, 13th – 15th Apr 12:

A  cook/steward weekend was held by PO Shane Griffin at TS Legion.  Cadets attended from TS Ark Royal, TS Revenge,TS Legion and TS Ocean. All 15 cadets passed the course with flying colours, three of them with 100% marks. Click to view pictures of the weekend.

    Thank you to all Navy Training Corps Cadets, Staff, Committee and helpers that took part in today’s Remembrance Parades at Wolverley and Cookley. Well done to everyone for their individual roles and for making today a great success.
