Changes to Training Programme.
There has only been a small uptake for the Seamanship Course planned for 28-30 October and 25-27 November.
Following an Executive meeting on 2nd October and a request from the OIC’s for a training course the following courses will be held in lieu of the Seamanship Courses as follows:
28-29-30 October: OIC’s, 1st Lt’s and Admin Officers General Course.
Venue – Perry Barr Unit
Open to Current and prospective staff.
A course programme will be published in due course.
Those staff members who wish to day run may do so – all others will be accommodated and victualled at the unit.
Cost of weekend – £12
Volunteers for a Catering team required.

NOMINATIONS TO TRAINER BY 6 NOVEMBER AT THE LATEST
17 December: Piping Training and Assessment
The Piping training originally planned for 10 December has had to be moved due to another event. This will now be held on 17th December – venue to be notified.
This will be open to a maximum of 3 cadets per unit plus staff who wish to be authorised to train cadets.
Cost will be £5 per head to cover refreshments and lunch.
