WOO!! I’ve been promoted to Leading hand and won 2 awards (Cadets’ cadet of the year and Cadet of the year!) but well done everyone for tonight’s hard work at T.S. Ark Royals Award Evening/ Inspection - really proud of you all also BIG well done to all the cadets that were promoted and won awards it’s all well deserved. BIG thanks to T.S. Legion on coming down to support us and I hope we made you feel welcome into our unit. (Feel free to come back anytime!) and I hoped you enjoyed it. But most of all BIG, BIG thanks to our staff specially S/Lt Cooper and P.O. Griffin who slaved all afternoon in my kitchen making all the food and making tonight happen! Same again next year then?….Plenty more years to come for T.S. Ark Royal!

I have just spent a very pleasant evening at TS Ark Royal. The CO, staff and cadets did themselves very proud; they were all a credit to the Corps. I am sure that the mayor and mayoress, also the Captain, went away very impressed. I know that the SMO and all the staff from TS Legion enjoyed every minute. Bravo Zulu TS Ark Royal.

It was heart warming to see the way the marine cadets came together as a team this weekend but more importantly it is good to see the support that some of the naval staff also supported us during this weekend.
Also well done to the booties on their first field appearance. Thank you also to Captain Tyrell for visiting us in the field, hope he enjoyed his visit.

On behalf of Major Fitzgerald: I would like to thank all cadets and staff for their hard work over the weekend. Well done to the three Booties for their first weekend in the field. As they, the Sgt Major and myself ambushed section 2. I felt a lot was achieved on this weekend and thanks to the RSM and his Mansfield Detachment of the independent Marine Cadets, who hopefully become part of Phoenix Company shortly. Cracking Weekend.
P.S. Could Capt Price remember for next time that near the tree line there is a bog and thanks for finding it. Very good command task, removing a Capt from it (who was up to his knees in it). Lol xx
